If you know me, you know how much I love nails. I love the ever-changing nail polish trends; long to short, to color, to decorations, and everything in-between. I have a somewhat extensive polish collection that I’ve been curating, but let’s face it I usually end up wearing the same few colors that are trendy at the moment.
With nail polish purchases there’s a pressure to make sure you use enough to get your money’s worth (I’m looking at you Butter London, Julep Beauty, Deborah Lippmann, etc.). This is why I compiled a list of nail polish trends for 2017; I think it’s important to see what the color trends are going to be for the year before you invest in a nail polish color. I based my color recommendations off of Pantone’s Fashion Color Report.
What colors are you most excited to wear? Let me know what you think in the comments below and don’t forget to subscribe!
Based off of both Pantone’s Spring and Fall Fashion Color Report (see below) I found a few colors that will transition well from the spring color trend to the fall. I would recommend buying these following colors:
Soft Pink– Similar to Pale Dogwood (Spring) and Ballet Slipper (Fall)
Tan– Similar to Hazelnut (Spring) and Butterum (Fall)
Blue– Similar to Niagara (Spring) and Marina (Fall)
Because brands always know what’s on trend I found a few colors that you might want to check out when you go to grab your next polish…
